School Settlement Association, established in 1904, was organized by teachers and community members to create positive out-of-school experiences for young people in the community.  We are the longest continually operating Settlement House in Brooklyn and one of the oldest in the nation, helping to raise over four generations of residents in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint areas of Brooklyn, NY.

In 2005, SSA and St. Nicks Alliance entered a strategic partnership in order to build
on their respective capacity and improve services to children and families. St. Nicks Alliance supports program development, training, accounting, IT and facility management.
